At a time when connectivity with Europe is as important as ever, this study assesses the potential benefits of extending Crossrail to Ebbsfleet (HS1). This affordable and attainable development would show that Britain is not raising the drawbridge to Europe. Instead, by turning Ebbsfleet into a logistics hub, London, Ebbsfleet and the continent would all experience greater connectivity, and offers potential local benefits such as the creation of up to 60,000 new houses and up to 100,000 local jobs.
